Jaye – Day Five

On Wednesday, February 23rd, proud parents Meredith and Michael bundle up five-day-old Jaye for her first walk in the stroller through Georgetown. Actually it was a wonderful February day – sunny and one degree Celsius. Fortunately Margaret-Ann, Meredith’s mother, was on hand to ply her skills with the camera and get a few shots of the young family.

The adventure continues!

Jaye –- Day Two

Meredith and Michael brought two-day-old Jaye home from the hospital mid morning on Saturday, February 19th. Early in the afternoon John and Margaret-Ann arrived and took the opportunity to snap a few more pictures of their granddaughter. The day after these pictures were taken (Sunday, February 20th) Meredith and Jaye checked into the local health spa (Georgetown Hospital) where Jaye worked on her tan (photo light therapy for a mild case of jaundice). By Monday morning, both Meredith and Jaye were back home. The start of yet another excellent adventure.

It’s A Girl!

We are extremely pleased to introduce Jaye; Meredith, our daughter, and Michael's first child and our first granddaughter.

Jaye calmly entered the world at 9:16 p.m. (21:16) on Thursday, February 17th -- 15 days before she was expected -- tipping the scales at a very lady-like 6 pounds 15 ounces (3147 grams) and measuring 19.7 inches (50 cm) in length. Jaye, Meredith and Michael are all doing extremely well.
