Jessica & Ed's Wedding -- August 5th, 2007

The wedding was held at Fantasy Farm in the Don Valley just minutes north of downtown Toronto. Below are several pictures of the lush gardens surrounding the outdoor wedding site.

The altar before the arrival of the wedding party.

As the guests arrive, the harpist plays "Morning Has Broken".

The harpist accompanies the tenor as the wedding party walks down the garden path to the altar.

The wedding party assembles and the ceremony begins.
Jessica and Ed sign the registry.

The newlyweds leave the altar to the applause of the guests.
As the wedding party leaves for some formal pictures, we take some of our own -- John & Margaret-Ann

Meredith (our daughter) & Michael with Jeremy (our son) and Jennifer. Jeremy and Jennifer are expecting their first child in November.

With the return of the wedding party it's time for the reception line. From left to right, Amy the Maid of Honour, Ed, Jessica and Erika, the mother of the bride.
With all the guests seated, the newlyweds make a grand entrance.

After a fabulous dinner, Jessica and Ed enjoy some good natured ribbing during the speeches.

Erika and Roger are also enjoying the speeches. Roger waxed eloquently on behalf of the bride's family, while Erika was reluctant to step up to the podium.

After the speeches Jessica and Ed take to the floor for the "first dance".

Ed gets down to business and removes his jacket to dance with his mother Maria.

Roger and his sons Matthew (left) and Luke, like all the guests, party into the wee hours.

Jessica and Ed don't stop smiling all night long!

Near the end, the newlyweds think dreamily of their upcoming honeymoon in Portugal.

Congratulations, Jessica and Ed, and thanks for letting us be part of your wedding day celebration!!!!
